I originally got this for my son who is 13 and loves to hunt. But this might be too nice lol. Its really well made and the blade is very sharp. It comes with a sheath which is nice, but not as nice as the knife. Its got a good weight to it and is easy to hold. I am very impressed with the quality. It would make a great gift for any outdoorsman, really.

First of all, as the title suggests, pictures don’t really do this piece any justice… It looks even better in person and you can only appreciate the craftsmanship when holding this in person. The Pakka wood handle is beautiful, offers a nice grip, and makes this knife a step above similar sized knives I own. The D2 steel blade is very strong, mirror like in appearance, razor sharp, aggressively designed, and it simply demands attention due to it’s massive size! The sheath is a nice leather that does a great job of protecting the knife and makes carrying this behometh possible. This knife is too nice to actually use outdoors in my opinion as I really wouldn’t want to mess the blade up; however, if I needed this knife in a pinch it would be more than capable of cutting pretty much anything thrown at it considering it’s pretty much a sword – I love it!

This is an excellent knife. Long blade, well-balanced. Good, robust guard to keep your fingers on the handle and not straying into the blade. Good, thick scabbard made of real leather, well-stitched. The leather loop with a secure snap keeps the knife safely secure in the scabbard. Attractive handle.

This knife is great! It’s got a nice weight to it, just heavy enough to add some power to your work, but not too heavy for its size. Speaking of, it’s a full foot of blade, plus 6 inches of handle. The leather sheath seems of high quality, and has a tighten fastening button to keep the knife in place. The belt loop is of a good size and will fit larger work belts. It came sharp, but there is always room to hone the blade to make it sharper. A word or caution to push the knife back towards the back edge when putting in the sheath, otherwise it does not go in as smooth and you risk digging into the leather with the blade. Longevity and tust resistance remains to be seen….Otherwise this is a great knife that I certainly recommend.

Wow this thing is amazing, the construction is beautiful and the blade looks amazing. I just happened to see it when searching for Bowie knives and needed to have it. The sheath is great, amazing leather and great quality. The blade is very solid and sharp, with a great mirror finish. Overall, I am super happy with my purchase!

This is a really huge knife, I mean HUGE. The blade itself is 11.5 inches, with an overall length of 17.5 inches. The hilt is a combination of solid brass, laminated gray wood, and stacked brown leather. The hilt seems pretty sturdy and the blade itself seems secure within the hilt. It is a hefty blade and comes relatively sharp, but a fine sharpening would help it out. The blade shape is the classic Bowie style and it has a blood groove. A blade like this would come in handy if you are battling a small dragon or several orcs. I did not try to throw it, but then again I have no skill in knife throwing. If thrown and the edge of the blade did not stick in the dragon, the heft of this knife would probably give it a concussion anyway. It comes with a matching leather sheath, which is double-stitched and embossed. The sheath has a snap closure on a flap to secure the blade, and has a basic belt loop. On your belt, this would probably hang down to your knee. The sheath itself could probably be wielded in your opposite hand and would be effective at distracting your opponent, be it a small dragon or some orcs. Enjoy this blade. I give it five stars. If you don’t use it in a battle against a real dragon, or bunch of orcs, it would surely impress your friends when they come over for a visit. The attached image shows this huge knife next to a root beer bottle for size comparison.

There is no other way to describe this knife but cool. This is a cool large knife. I may be dating myself but this reminds me of the crocodile Dundee knife. The knife is full tang and has a nice grip. It also comes with a sheath. The knife has a comfortable grip. The knife is average in sharpness. I am so glad I was able to get this very cool knife.

Not going to lie, looks alone are great but don’t know how it would do for everyday use, feels good but don’t feel like a full tang or maybe tapers down look at last pic Handle is weighted nicely, has nice balance, grip is solid, blade feels good, no blems, handle it self has a nice Pakkawood design, beltloop attached to the leather sheath probably won’t last, not attached well but sheath itself is well made.
